COVID-FLU-RSV RT PCR Detection kit is a one-step multiplex RT-PCR assay for the qualitative detection of SARS-CoV-2, Flu A, Flu B and Respiratory Syncytial Virus A / B (RSV A / B) from nasopharyngeal swab samples. This test can be used in the differential diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2, Influenza A, Influenza B and respiratory syncytial virus infections in combination with other clinical and epidemiological patient data. Positive results are indicative of the presence of SARS-CoV-2, FluA, FluB, and RSV RNA

Description
At the international level, the use of tests that allow the differential diagnosis of flu and COVID-19, especially with the arrival of the flu season [ESWI, Conclusions of ESWI’s andrecommendations, 2020; CDC, https://www.cdc.gov/flu/symptoms/testing.htm]. Given the similarity in terms of symptoms between seasonal flu and SARS-CoV-2, the possibility of using type assays multiplex is critical in order to implement effective disease control as well as clinical treatment. COVID-FLU-RSV RT PCR Detection kit is a one-step multiplex RT-PCR assay for the qualitative detection of SARS-CoV-2, Flu A, Flu B and (RSV A / B) from nasopharyngeal swab samples. This test can be used in the differential diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2, Influenza A, Influenza B and respiratory syncytial virus infections in combination with other clinical and epidemiological patient data. Positive results are indicative of the presence of SARS-CoV-2, FluA, FluB, and RSV RNA. Positive results do not rule out co-infections caused by the presence of other viruses or bacteria. Negative results do not exclude infections caused by SARS-CoV-2, FluA, FluB and RSV and cannot be used as the sole basis for clinical patient management. Negative results must be associated with observations clinical history, patient history and epidemiological observations.
