Description: A-Type Lamins are nuclear proteins required for the structural and functional integrity of the nucleus. Lamin A is translated as a 74 KDa protein precursor called Prelamin A. Lamin A is mutated in a number of human inherited disorders collectively referred to Laminopathies. Various mouse models were created to investigate the different mutations of Lamin A. This antibody may be useful in the research against Lysine 32 deleted LAMIN A.
